What is an Axxess PREPAID Voucher?
The Axxess PREPAID voucher works the same way as a normal cell phone airtime voucher. There is a 3 year time limit to any bandwidth purchased on PREPAID vouchers. If you use part of your bandwidth this month, then the balance is carried over to the following months until the full bandwidth has been used up or 3 years has elapsed.
This way there is no need to pay any ISP on a monthly base for internet access. The only monthly fee will be your ADSL line rental. You can also use the voucher system to supplement your existing ISP broadband account.
What are the Axxess PREPAID account sizes?
1GB (R70), 2GB (R140) , 3GB (R210), 4GB (R280) and 5GB (R350) vouchers are available at any of the participating group stores nation wide.
What are Voucher transfers?
Axxess Prepaid Vouchers available at all ENGEN, EFTPOS & Pick n Pay stores nation wide can now be used to topup any of our Prepaid accounts. You can only do the transfer in your CUSTOMER CONTROL PANEL (CCP).
Example:
- 1GB Prepaid Voucher will add 600MB to your Axxess Prepaid Unshaped account.
- 1GB Prepaid Voucher will add 5.8GB to your Axxess Prepaid Local Only account.
- 1GB Prepaid Voucher will add 1GB to your Axxess Prepaid Shaped account.
- 1GB Prepaid Voucher will add 1GB to your Axxess Prepaid Semi Shaped account.
- 1GB Prepaid Voucher will add 1.28GB to your Axxess Prepaid 626 Unshaped account.
These voucher transfers will only work with the following Axxess ADSL account types:
- Axxess Prepaid Shaped
- Axxess Prepaid Semi Shaped
- Axxess Prepaid Un-Shaped
- Axxess Prepaid Local Only
- Axxess Prepaid 626 Unshaped
Please Note - Voucher transfers will not work if the voucher has been used or you have logged into the customer control panel with the new voucher details.

How do I use the PREPAID voucher?
- Replace your present username and password on your broadband router/modem with the one given to you on the till slip.
- Save your broadband router/modem settings.
- If you have a broadband router then restart it and you are online.

I need more bandwidth. What now?
You may at any time top up your present PREPAID voucher with a new voucher. This is done via the group stores web based Customer Control Panel (CCP). The CCP simplifies the process of adding the bandwidth from new vouchers to your existing voucher without the need to change your username & password on the broadband router/modem again.
Log in to the CCP with your present Username & Password and click on the top up link. Enter the Username & Password from the new voucher that you purchased and click on update. You will see that you have added more bandwidth to your old voucher details and can continue surfing without anymore changes. When your bandwidth runs low again, simply purchase a new voucher and repeat the above steps. Please note that you can only use a new voucher to top up with. Once the voucher has been activated it can not be used as a top up voucher any more, only as a username and password for bandwidth remaining on that voucher. Do not lose your prepaid voucher. Keep it safe. It can not be re-issued and if you lose it, your bandwidth is gone. Just like cell phone air time.
